Salt Fundraiser Set For May

The South Alabama Land Trust (SALT) is holding the 11th Annual Bald Eagle Bash at the Tonsmeire Weeks Bay Resource Center in Fairhope on May 22 at 4-7 p.m. Featuring local seafood and live local music, the event is SALT’s largest fundraiser for its restoration efforts of vulnerable coastline and wildlife, and water preservation education. More than a dozen area restaurants are scheduled to create dishes based on Gulf Coast shrimp. Due to COVID-19 restrictions and the need to maintain social distance, tickets will be limited and can only be purchased in advance. They will go on sale March 22 online and at The Fairhope Store, The Orange Beach Store, Weeks Bay Reserve and SALT. For more information or to sponsor the event, visit website or call 251-990-5004.
