Tree Assessment Workshop Coming Up

MOBILE, Ala. — The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is holding a Tree Assessment Workshop on May 17 at 8:30 a.m.-noon. Designed to give participants the knowledge to make the right decisions about trees around their buildings, the workshop will take place at the Bragg-Mitchell Mansion in Mobile. Tree risk assessment concepts, identification of defects and legal considerations will be covered, and outdoor demonstrations will be conducted. The workshop is free, but as space is limited, those interested in attending are asked to call 251-574-8445 to register.
