Turtle Stranding, Salvage Training Workshops Announced

The Alabama Coastal Foundation has announced the dates for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Fisheries 2024 Sea Turtle Stranding and Salvage Network (STSSN) Training Workshops, which will be offered both virtually and in person. It is mandatory for all STSSN participants to register and attend one session every year. Registration is open for March 7 at 2-4 p.m. in person at the Dauphin Island Sea Lab’s Shelby Hall in Dauphin Island, March 12 at 2-4 p.m. in person at the Gulf State Park’s Education Center in Gulf Shores and April 11 at 1-3 p.m. in Google Meet.
