GSE Announces New Partners

Gulf States Engineering, Inc. (GSE), headquartered in Mobile, has announced the addition of two accomplished Professional Engineers, Stephanie Groves and Brent Stubstad, as partners. Groves has been an integral part of GSE for more than 12 years, serving as manager of its civil engineering and project support departments. With 30 years in the engineering industry, Groves’s experience encompasses roles for clients including Aumovio Autonomous Mobility (formerly known as Continental Automotive), SSAB and Aurubis. A University of Alabama alumna and LEED AP-certified professional, she has earned recognition as GSE’s permitting expert, lending invaluable insight into complex projects. Stubstad joined GSE in 2020 and quickly became a key contributor. Stubstad applies his 20 years of engineering experience to complex projects for clients such as Nucor, CMC and SSAB. He now serves as GSE’s director of operations and as a member of its electrical engineering team.
