MACE Awards Nominations Open

The Mobile Area Council of Engineers (MACE) Awards are now open for nominations with a deadline of January 9, 2026, at 5 p.m. Categories include “Engineer of the Year,” “Young Engineer of the Year,” “Industry Innovator (Special Recognition),” “Individual of Special Recognition,” “Engineering Project of the Year,” “Aerospace Engineer of the Year,” “Chemical Engineer of the Year,” “Civil Engineer of the Year,” “Electrical Engineer of the Year,” “Engineering Manager of the Year,” “Marine Engineer/Naval Architect of the Year,” “Mechanical Engineer of the Year,” “Engineering Educator of the Year” and “Plant Engineer of the Year.” “Plant Engineer of the Year” is open to any engineer working in an industrial plant environment, including chemical, refining, steel/ heavy manufacturing, and pulp and paper. The awards ceremony will be held on March 26, 2026, at the MacQueen Alumni Center at the University of South Alabama at 5 p.m.
