Thompson Holdings Acquires Sourcetoad

Thompson Holdings has acquired Sourcetoad, a software development company. Sourcetoad was founded in 2008 and is a nearly 60-person firm headquartered in Tampa, with additional offices in Australia and the Philippines. Sourcetoad says it helps clients in several industries including cruise and ferry, financial, architecture, engineering, healthcare, disaster response and construction scale with AI, automation and custom software without increasing headcount. Thompson Holdings now comprises four subsidiaries: Thompson Engineering, Watermark Design Group, Thompson Consulting Services and Sourcetoad. The company operates as an employee stock ownership plan in which every employee earns shares in the company as it grows. Thompson and its subsidiaries encompass nearly 800 employees working in eight Southeastern states.
