Hargrove Foundation To Host Downtown Get Down In October

The Hargrove Foundation is partnering with Hargrove’s Mobile office to again hold the Downtown Get Down in Mobile on October 9 at Soul Kitchen. The evening will begin with a cornhole tournament followed by live music from Fat Lincoln. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m., and the event will kick off at 5 p.m. and run until 10 p.m. The Downtown Get Down has grown in recent years as an event celebrating Foundation causes, the Mobile community and Hargrove’s downtown neighbors. Spectators can enter for a $5 donation, while a cornhole team of two can register for $125. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hargrove Foundation, which supports causes like the Hargrove Adaptive Toy (HAT) Project, dedicated to helping mobility limited children achieve independence through the use of adaptive cars. The Hargrove Foundation is the charitable link of the Hargrove family of companies and is funded by teammates and donors.
