MACE Nomination Period Open

Nominations are now open for the Mobile Area Council of Engineers (MACE) Awards, and the group has announced a new award category this year: Plant Engineer of the Year. This category is open to any engineer working in an industrial plant environment (chemical, refining, steel/ heavy manufacturing, pulp and paper, etc.). Award categories include Engineer of the Year, Young Engineer of the Year, Industry Innovator (Special Recognition), Individual of Special Recognition, Engineering Project of the Year, Aerospace Engineer of the Year, Chemical Engineer of the Year, Civil Engineer of the Year, Electrical Engineer of the Year, Engineering Manager of the Year, Marine Engineer/Naval Architect of the Year, Mechanical Engineer of the Year and Engineering Educator of the Year. Nominations must be submitted by November 10 to email. The awards event will be held on January 18 at the University of South Alabama’s MacQueen Alumni Center.
