Nomination Period Open For MACE Awards

he Mobile Area Council of Engineers (MACE) is seeking nominations via email for the annual MACE Awards. Categories include “Engineer of the Year,” “Young Engineer of the Year,” “Industry Innovator (Special Recognition),” “Individual of Special Recognition,” “Engineering Project of the Year,” “Aerospace Engineer of the Year,” “Chemical Engineer of the Year,” “Civil Engineer of the Year,” “Electrical Engineer of the Year,” “Engineering Manager of the Year,” “Marine Engineer/Naval Architect of the Year,” “Mechanical Engineer of the Year,” “Engineering Educator of the Year” and “Plant Engineer of the Year.” Nominations are due by January 10, 2025. The award banquet will be held on March 20 at the MacQueen Alumni Center at the University of South Alabama. All nominators will be notified of the Nominations Committee’s decisions by February 14, 2025.
