White-Spunner Adds Four Employees
White-Spunner Construction recently announced the addition of several new corporate office staff members “in response to ongoing expansion within key market sectors.” The new employees are Sarah Nagy Hicks as lead architect, D’Andre Smith as project engineer, Justin Thorpe as senior project manager, and Marsha Maines as assistant project manager. Hicks is a registered architect in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi. She holds an MS in management of information systems from the University of Alabama at Huntsville, an MS in architecture from Florida A&M University and a BS in architecture with a certificate in engineering psychology from Georgia Tech. Thorpe is involved in all market sectors and will manage large construction projects. He earned a BS in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University. Smith is now a member of the company’s new drywall division, handling all aspects of the engineering oversight for drywall projects. He earned a BS degree in construction science and management from Tuskegee University. Maines has more than 20 years’ experience in the building and property segment, having worked for Target Corp. She received her MBA in project management from the Florida Institute of Technology and earned a BA in finance and economics from Florida State University.
