100% Of UM Nursing Graduates Pass Exam For Second Year

For the second consecutive year, the University of Mobile (UM) School of Nursing scored a 100% pass rate for BS in nursing graduates taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX). Nursing graduates are required to pass the NCLEX to be licensed as registered nurses in the U.S. and Canada. The standardized test assesses a candidate’s competency and ability to provide safe, effective nursing care prior to entering the profession. Previously, UM said it was the only school in Alabama to receive a 100% pass rate for BS in nursing graduates during 2022. While UM’s 2023 scores are complete, scores for some other schools will not be final until the 2023 calendar year ends.
