ASMS Named Among Top In Nation

The Alabama School of Mathematics and Science (ASMS) in Mobile has been recognized as the No. 19 “Best Public High School in America” by college and school search platform Niche. In addition, Niche ranked ASMS for the second year in a row as No. 1 in the following categories: “Best Public High School in Alabama,” “Best High School for STEM in Alabama,” “Best College Prep Public High School in Alabama” and “Best Magnet High School in Alabama.” The rankings reflect ASMS’s exceptional performance across numerous factors analyzed by Niche including academic performance; extracurricular activity opportunities; data from sources like the U.S. Department of Education; and input from current students, alumni and parents.
