Bishop State, Airbus Partner for Certificate Program

MOBILE, Ala. — Mobile’s Bishop State Community College, in partnership with Airbus, is offering an Aviation Manufacturing Technology short-certificate program for high school dual-enrollment students beginning this fall. The 18-h certificate will train students for a career in the aviation industry as they earn industry-recognized certifications and college credits from Bishop State, the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce reported. The training will take place at the Faulkner Career Technical Center and include courses like Aviation Manufacturing, Aerostructure Assembly and Aviation Electrical Assembly.
