DISL’s New Website Goes Live

The Dauphin Island Sea Lab (DISL) has a new website designed to be faster, safer and more accessible. Its design highlights DISL’s core values of providing education for all ages and access to the best science for coastal policy. It also features a breakdown of DISL’s educational programs, including K-12, undergraduate and graduate, and makes DISL’s resources available for use in classrooms and the community. The new “Research” subpage includes projects like the Marine Mammal Research Program, fisheries ecology research and tagging, and Alabama’s Real-Time Coastal Observing System. The redesign also brings a fresh new look at the Alabama Aquarium, with links to purchase tickets, discover educational resources and learn how to volunteer. The aquarium is open year-round and takes visitors on a journey through the Alabama watershed.
