FAME Receives $100,000 For Scholarships Fund

Baldwin County’s newest technical work-based learning program, FAME Built By Baldwin, has announced receipt of a $100,000 donation from the South Alabama Workforce Development Council (SAWDC). This contribution will establish an endowed scholarship fund, providing long-term support for future FAME student scholarships. SAWDC is a regional workforce development organization with a mission to develop strategic partnerships that align education, training and economic development to meet the workforce needs of business and industry in South Alabama. SAWDC’s “commitment to workforce excellence has played a critical role in strengthening our region’s talent pipeline,” FAME said.
