New Summer Programs At SHC

Spring Hill College (SHC) has announced an initiative to provide summer classes and programs for the community. It focuses on cultural programming, including classes in drawing, ceramics, art history, dance and photography. The art history sessions will take place on June 3-7 and June 5-26 and cost $120 and $140, respectively. The photography classes will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays through July 9 for $100 per session, and foxtrot and Cajun swing dance lessons will be held at a to-be-determined time for $45 per session. There is also an ACT boot camp, offered in partnership with Class 101, which allows high school students to get a taste of college life while learning more about the college admissions process and preparing for the ACT. This camp takes place on July 9-11 and costs $1,000, which includes housing, meals and materials.
