Next Stream Saturday Focuses On Neuroscience, The Senses

Registration is open for the Mobile Parks and Recreation Department’s next Science, Technology, Recreation, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STREAM) Saturday, taking place on November 21 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Hope Community Center. The theme is “Neuroscience & The Senses,” giving students ages 5 to 13 the chance to investigate how the body processes information, responds to the environment and uses our senses to help us understand the world around us. Through hands-on learning and exploration, young participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, discover new ideas and learn more about the science behind how we see, hear, feel and experience our surroundings. Spots are limited for the free event, and registration is required.
