Original Oyster House Awards Two Scholarships

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. — The Original Oyster House, with locations in Gulf Shores and Mobile, awarded its annual Chelsea Garvin Spirit Scholarships to O’Melia Macpherson of Bayside Academy and Anna Goeke of Foley High School. The $1,000 scholarships are awarded to high school seniors in Baldwin County. They are for high school seniors in Baldwin County during the 2021-2022 school year with a minimum GPA of 2.5 who have participated in recent school or community art events and submitted artwork that reflects the Original Oyster House brand in some way for display in the restaurant. Macpherson plans to study pre-law and minor in art at the University of Alabama, and Goeke plans to study studio art at the University of South Alabama this fall.
