Spring Fever Chase Set For March

The Spring Fever Chase, an annual 10K run and 5-mi. fun run/walk presented by Thomas Hospital of Fairhope and Daphne and Wells Fargo to benefit physical education programs in Baldwin County schools, is taking place in Downtown Fairhope overlooking Mobile Bay on March 18. Registration is open at $20 for the fun run/walk and $25 for the 10K. The 10K is accurately measured, flat to rolling, with five water stations along the route and one at the finish. The finish line clock records unofficial time. For an official time, participants may stay in line in the chute after crossing the finish line. More than $72,000 has been gifted since 2012. Sponsorship opportunities are available through February 10. For more information, contact Jill Everson at phone: 251-279-1730 or email.
