USA College Names Stefurak Associate Dean

Dr. Tres Stefurak has been appointed associate dean at the University of South Alabama (USA) College of Education and Professional Studies. Stefurak served as interim associate dean beginning in August 2020 until his recent promotion. “Stefurak will have administrative responsibilities for a variety of critical college functions and will provide leadership in the areas of funded research, educator preparation, faculty mentoring and development, and external partnerships,” the announcement read. He has worked at USA for more than 13 years in such capacities as chair of the department of counseling and instructional sciences in the College of Education and Professional Studies, where he oversaw five master’s and two doctoral programs.
