Hicks Coming to Flora-Bama

On May 22, Taylor Hicks plans to perform at the Orange Beach’s Flora-Bama, where he often played before becoming a household name on American Idol, AL.com reports. “When I was 17 years old, I was happy just to play in the Flora-Bama,” he said. “I would have played outside in the parking lot if I could. I think a little bit of gray hair helped me actually get into the club when I was 17 or 18 years old.” His appearance will be part of Hicks’ “Live on the Line” tour, which he will be kicking off after a quiet 2020. He added, “I’m really looking forward to seeing… I think I can say this for a lot of entertainers, once everyone can get safe and healthy and back to normal, the new norm, I’m hoping that it’s going to be like the Roaring ‘20s.”
