Lillian Fall Festival Set For September 19

Lillian will kick off the fall season with barbecue, live music, games and a full day of activities at Lillian Recreational Park’s Fall Festival on September 19, Gulf Coast Media reports. The festival will run from 11 a.m.-7 p.m. and feature attractions for visitors of all ages. Attendees may enjoy barbecue, live music, a beer tent, arts and crafts vendors, games and activities for children. The children’s Fun Zone will offer a bouncy house, face painting, balloon art, pumpkin painting, laser tag and a petting zoo. The popular pumpkin smashing activity will return this year, and visitors may choose a pumpkin to take home. Cowboy Johnson and Jon Cook will play from 12-3 p.m., and Gary Story and Bad Habit will play from 4-7 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the park. While some activities will be free, others will have a small fee. A requested $5 parking donation will also be collected, with proceeds earmarked for repaving the parking lot.
