Meeting Of The Minds Returns To Gulf Shores Next Month

Thousands of Jimmy Buffett fans are expected to flock to Gulf Shores this fall as nonprofit Parrot Heads in Paradise brings its 33rd Annual Meeting of the Minds Convention back to Alabama’s beaches, Gulf Coast Media reports. The official Buffett fan organization will host the event on October 22-26 at The Hangout Gulf Shores for the third straight year. The 2025 convention theme, “Keeping the Party Alive,” pays tribute to Buffett’s spirit with a weeklong lineup of live music, community service and camaraderie. Organizers promise a stacked roster featuring solo artists, duos, full bands and Grammy-caliber performers. Three stages will keep the party going daily from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and there will be plenty of onsite food and drink thanks to the Hangout’s five bars and 350-seat restaurant. The convention supports a range of charitable efforts, including games, auctions and a blood drive. Past gatherings have brought in millions for nonprofits and donated hundreds of pints of blood.
