Fairhope Seeking Input On Comprehensive Plan

FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Fairhope is still looking for input on what will eventually become a future comprehensive land use plan, WPMI reports. So far, response rates have been high for input on issues ranging from zoning to traffic issues, schools, and growth and utilities. The challenge of keeping up with residential growth is the focus in revising a comprehensive plan that hasn’t been updated since 2014, when commercial growth was the worry. Several public meetings are coming up, and an online survey is available. Two things expected to undergo change after the February 18 deadline for comments are zonings and subdivision regulations.
