Ground Broken On Baldwin County Animal Shelter
SUMMERDALE, Ala. — Ground was recently broken on the $4.7-million Baldwin County Animal Shelter in Summerdale, WKRG was among outlets to report. The modern 14,000-ft2 facility has been designed for later expansion to include a new adoption center between the new facility and the existing dog runs. Despite a delay in construction due to COVID-19 and supply chain issues, completion is expected in approximately 14 months.
