Mobile Reopens Recycling Centers

The City of Mobile’s recycling centers at 308 Pinehill Drive and 4851 Museum Drive have been reopened for drop-offs for Mobile residents. The centers’ hours of operation are 7 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays and 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on weekends. The Mobile County Recycling Center at 7450 Hitt Road retains the reduced hours of 7 a.m.-4 p.m. on the weekdays and 7 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays. It is closed on Sundays. The closures were due to a fire at the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority processing facility, where the material is sent. It has recently reopened.
