Mobile Resilience Plan Workshop Coming Up

ThePublic Planning Workshop for the City of Mobile‘s first Resilience Plan will be held on January 30 at 5:30-8 p.m. at the Seals Community Center. City staff will review the recently released Resilience Assessment and work with community members to identify potential projects and initiatives that could make Mobile a more resilient city. The workshop will include an overview of the assessment, and participants will collaborate in small groups organized around the city’s watersheds to define the direction for the city. “While not every project will make it into the final plan, starting from a broad and diverse list is the best way to ensure this effort is citizen-driven,” Mayor Sandy Stimpson said. All Mobilians are invited, but registration is requested.
