Operation Restore Brilliance Ongoing In Mobile

Mobile is seeing restoration to the color of light poles and other utilities around downtown via Operation Restore Brilliance, Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced. Additionally, the team is repairing broken lights and missing trees from sidewalk planters. Operation Restore Brilliance includes employees from several city departments, including painting, traffic engineering, electrical and public services. Stimpson called out nonprofit Downtown Mobile Alliance, which is assisting in the horticultural aspects of the project. The paint being used is Mobile Paint’s “BLP Jet Green.” Work will continue until restoration has been done along all downtown streets.
