Wave Transit Goes Digital

The City of Mobile recently added new ways to use The Wave Transit System, Mayor Sandy Stimpson announced. Approximately 4,000 passengers switched over to one of two digital options, which work with the new MyWAVE card and MyWAVE app, in the first week. The card and app are used with new “Tap & Go Fareboxes,” and cash is still accepted. Free MyWAVE cards with any fare purchase are available through July 2 at the GM&O Transportation Center at 110 Beauregard Street.
