Hasmi Joins Cardio-Thoracic And Vascular Surgical Associates (CTVSA)

CTVSA recently announced the addition of Dr. Osman Hashmi, a cardiothoracic surgeon. Hashmi joins CTVSA following the completion of a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He earned his medical degree from the University of South Alabama (USA) College of Medicine, as well as a BA in psychology from USA. He completed his residency and internship in general surgery at USA. During his residency, he served as administrative chief resident and became a recipient of the American Association for Thoracic Surgery Thoracic Surgical Robotics Fellowship. He speaks English, Urdu, Hindi, Arabic and Punjab. CTVSA is an affiliate of Infirmary Health and has been serving the Mobile area since 1971.
