Ivey Awards Grant To Bay Minette’s Kids Park

The City of Bay Minette has announced the award of a $900,000 Gulf of Mexico Energy Security Act (GOMESA)-funded grant to support major renovations and upgrades at Kids Park at 303 McMillan Avenue. Funds from the grant will support a range of improvements at Kids Park, including a new restroom facility, upgraded walkways, modern playground equipment, an outdoor classroom space, additional lighting and various enhancements designed to elevate the park’s natural beauty. These upgrades aim to create a safe, welcoming environment for children and families of all ages and abilities.
