MCHD Family Health Planning Back-To-School Event August 10

The Mobile County Health Department (MCHD) and Family Health, its primary care division, are hosting “Children’s Health Day” on August 10 as a part of National Health Center Week. The communitywide back-to-school event will be at the Keeler Memorial Building (251 North Bayou Street in Downtown Mobile) from 8 a.m. to noon. Each student who attends will receive a back-to-school kit. Eligible children may also qualify for benefits such as the “Reach out and Read” program and free books. Additionally, Family Health is a Prescription for Play site. Children who qualify will receive a free Lego Duplo kit.
