Moving Forward Parkinson’s Conference To Be Held In Daphne

The Parkinson Association of Alabama will host its annual Moving Forward conference for Parkinson’s Patients at the Daphne Civic Center on May 13 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Featured topics include “Personal Connection,” “Pharmaceuticals,” “Clinical Trials,” “Neurology,” “Physical Therapy” and “Caregiving.” Featured speakers include Christina Bond, Dr. John Shelley-Tremblay, Dr. Daniel Dees, Julie Kellen, Kelly Cantrell, representatives from HealthActions, Bibby Bailey, Gary Ellis and Ellen Hicks. Centered around individuals with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers, family members and supporters, the Moving Forward conference will provide insights from pioneers at the forefront of Parkinson’s disease research and treatment the opportunity to connect with fellow patients, caregivers, friends, family and the foremost experts in Alabama specializing in Parkinson’s disease. Admission is free, but as space is limited, registration is required.
