Southern Cancer Center Adds Physician

The Southern Cancer Center recently announced the addition of medical oncologist Dr. Brittany H. Case to its practice, effective August 1. Case will see patients on both sides of Mobile Bay, making her the only woman medical oncologist available in Baldwin County. An Alabama native, Case obtained her undergraduate degree from Troy University, completed the rural medicine program at Auburn University, then received her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine at Birmingham. Case completed a residency at USA Health System and then served as chief resident for the university’s Internal Medicine program. Most recently, she completed a hematology and oncology fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. Case is now accepting patients in Daphne, Foley and Mobile.
