Southern Eye Group Adds Ophthalmologist

Southern Eye Group recently announced the addition of Dr. Gayla Rowland, ophthalmologist, to the practice. Originally from Crestview, Florida, Rowland graduated summa cum laude from Troy University. She then attended medical school, finishing in the top 10%, and completed an internship in internal medicine and residency training in ophthalmology at the University of South Florida in Tampa. She has been practicing comprehensive ophthalmology in the Pensacola area for more than 16 years. Rowland is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association and Escambia County Medical Society. She will be seeing patients at the group’s Foley and Fairhope locations.
