Thomas Hospital Earns National Recognition

FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Thomas Hospital, an affiliate of Infirmary Health, recently earned recognition as a “High Performing Hospital” by U.S. News & World Report in its “2021-22 Best Hospitals” rankings and ratings. Thomas Hospital has been recognized as “High Performing” in the “Heart Attack” category, and it was the only hospital in Alabama to earn the designation for “Maternity Care.” Thomas Hospital is home to the only open-heart surgery center in Baldwin County. Additionally, it boasts a new birth center that delivers more than 1,500 babies annually. U.S. News & World Report generates hospital rankings by evaluating data on nearly 5,000 hospitals. According to the outlet, a hospital in these national rankings must excel in caring for the sickest, most medically complex patients.
