Thomas Hospital Performs Innovative Procedure, First In Area

Dr. Robert Brown, a urogynecologist with Alabama UROGYN, recently performed the first vaginal Natural Orifice Trans Endoscopic Surgery (vNOTES) hysterectomy in Alabama at Infirmary Health’s Thomas Hospital in Fairhope. In addition to Brown, Dr. Angela McCool-Pearson, also practicing in Fairhope, is trained to perform vNOTES.
