Midtown Foosackly’s Reopens

Foosackly’s in Midtown Mobile has reopened following a five-month shutdown for renovations, AL.com reported. The store at 2250 Airport Boulevard formerly featured both a drive-through and small dining area, but will now offer drive-through and curbside pickup only, marking the first restaurant in the 15-store chain to operate on that basis. Prior to the makeover, the store’s parking lot could handle only a few vehicles in its drive-through queue before the line backed up to Airport Boulevard and blocked dine-in patrons. That entrance is now relocated, and all the parking spots have been eliminated so waiting cars can coil around the building. The changes are intended to allow for a higher volume of drive-through traffic more smoothly. The restaurant’s hours are 10 a.m.-9:30 p.m. on Sundays-Thursdays and 10 a.m.-10 p.m. on Fridays-Saturdays.
