Murder Creek Distillery Coming To OWA

Operators of OWA recently announced that Murder Creek Distillery, a small distillery based in Riverview, near Brewton, Alabama, will open a second distillery in OWA this spring, according toAl.com. Owners of the two-year-old distillery have designed and built their own production equipment. The new location will offer onsite tastings of “moonshine” and a shop for purchasing products. Flavors recently advertised by the Riverview distillery include “Orange Dreamsicle Moonshine,” a bourbon cherry sour cocktail using its cherry moonshine and “Dixie Honey Liqueur.” Other flavors include peach cobbler, pecan praline and banana pudding. The “Tasting Room & ‘Shine Store” will be in the Downtown OWA retail and dining district next to Lucy’s Retired Surfers Bar.
