Fairhope Pier’s The Blind Tiger Expected To Open By July 22

The Blind Tiger restaurant that sits on the Municipal Pier in Fairhope is almost open for business after two years in the works, WKRG News 5 reports. Thomas Genin, owner of the restaurant, told WKRG that he plans to be open on or before July 22. Genin purchased the restaurant in 2022, hoping to open in spring 2023, but the building was in worse condition than expected. Menu items include shrimp, seafood, burgers and more, and the restaurant does not have a freezer so everything is made fresh daily. After opening, he plans to add more boat slips and renovate the boat docks.
