Italian Restaurant Opens In Midtown

T Marie’s Ristorante Italiano opened on Government Street in Midtown Mobile on January 11. The owners were originally part of the Mirko Pasta Franchise Co. when it was purchased in 2011 and opened in Legacy Village. Mirko “is no longer selling franchises,” the company explained. “Rather than have a legal issue concerning using the name in an unapproved site later, we chose to buy our franchise rights out.” Now, it may use the recipes from Mirko at the new location. The restaurant is set to get its liquor license at the end of January.
