Mullet Toss to be Held Next Weekend

According to Al.com, the Flora-Bama Mullet Toss is back on the 2020 calendar. This week, the state-line roadhouse announced that the 35th annual event will take place on October 23-25. In the main event, participants line up at a launching point in Florida, from which they fling dead fish into Alabama in an effort to set a distance record. The events will start at 10 a.m. daily, with children throwing from 10 a.m. to noon and adults from noon to 4 p.m. “Celebrity tossers” will be featured at 4 p.m. each day before daily finals at 4:30 p.m.
