The Hope Farm Also Named James Beard Semifinalist

The Hope Farm in Fairhope has been named a 2024 James Beard Award semifinalist in the “Outstanding Wine and Other Beverages Program” category. The Hope Farm is one of only five Alabama restaurants/chefs to be listed as a semifinalist. According to Alabama News Center, “the extensive wine list is strong enough to earn a Best Award of Excellence in 2023 from Wine Spectator, and its cocktail list also features a dizzying array of premium-label spirits.” The Hope Farm is owned by Bentley Evans and his father, Robert Evans, who opened it in 2020. Nominees will be announced on April 3, and winners will be announced at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards Ceremony on June 10 in Chicago.
