Hand Arendall Harrison Sale LLC announced Richard Calhoun has joined the firm’s Mobile office. Calhoun concentrates his practice in the areas of public finance, economic development, corporate and business law and taxation. In his public finance practice, Calhoun serves as bond counsel to municipalities, counties, boards of education, industrial development boards and other public corporations and authorities. He has extensive experience with economic development projects, representing both governmental and business clients in connection with project development agreements, tax abatements, revenue-sharing arrangements and other governmental incentive matters. His corporate and business law practice principally consists of advising clients with respect to the formation, financing, operation and disposition of business entities, including mergers and acquisitions and private securities offerings. Calhoun also represents and advises nonprofits in connection with corporate and tax matters.
