Cunningham Bounds attorney Amanda Herren has been named to the 2025 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list, which recognizes attorneys who demonstrate excellence in their practice early in their careers. This group is selected through peer nominations and independent research, with a small percentage (no more than 2.5%) of state lawyers making the list. A native Mobilian, Amanda Herren began her legal career as an assistant district attorney with the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office. Herren’s practice focuses on personal injury litigation, including automobile and trucking accidents, industrial accidents, premises liability, products liability and medical malpractice cases. She is a member of the Mobile Bar Association, American Association for Justice, Alabama Association for Justice and the South Alabama Trial Lawyers Association. Herren earned her BA from Harding University and her JD from the Cumberland School of Law. While at Cumberland, she was a member of its National Trial Team, an editor for the American Journal of Trial Advocacy and served as assistant director of its Trial Board.
