Local Law Firm Employee Named President Of International Association

The Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) has elected Geoffrey M. Williams, chief operating officer (COO) and chief financial officer (CFO) of Cunningham Bounds, its 2022 president-elect. Williams has been the COO and CFO of Cunningham Bounds in Mobile since 2009. A Certified Legal Manager, one of 400 worldwide, Williams earned his undergraduate degree from Huntingdon College, an MBA from Louisiana State University Shreveport, a master’s degree from Princeton Seminary and a law firm management degree from George Washington University. He has held leadership positions in several organizations and is a public speaker for local and national organizations and events. ALA is a Chicago-based nonprofit legal management association with nearly 9,000 members from 30 countries involved in managing law firms, corporate legal departments and government legal agencies. ALA is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2021.
