Phelps Announces Addition Of Maples

Phelps has announced that litigator Jonathan Maples has joined the firm’s Mobile office as counsel. Maples joins Phelps from Carr Allison of Daphne. He brings almost 20 years of litigation experience with a focus on employment matters, professional liability litigation and construction litigation. He earned his JD from the University of Alabama School of Law. Maples holds a BS in accounting from the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Commerce and Business Administration, where he graduated with distinction. “A versatile lawyer with deep experience in civil litigation and employment law, his addition to the firm deepens Phelps’ presence in Mobile, the labor and employment capabilities and trial support of clients across Alabama…” the company said. Maples assists employers with mitigating risk through review and analysis of policies and procedures, along with training, both onsite and remote.
