South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program Adds Staff

The South Alabama Volunteer Lawyers Program (SAVLP) recently announced the addition of two new staff members. Robin Rolison has joined as pro bono manager. She is a graduate of McGill-Toolen High School and the University of Alabama School of Law, where she served as a Student Bar Association senator and the secretary of the Environmental Law Society (1999). Also that year, she joined now-retired Judge John Lockett’s staff as his first law clerk, then entered private practice in 2000. Before departing for New York City (where she resided for 10 years), Rolison was an active member of civic and charitable organizations in Mobile and served a term as president of the Young Lawyers Section of the Mobile Bar.
Michele Potter joins SAVLP as part-time intake specialist. She has lived in Mobile since 1986 and began working in the legal field as a receptionist for Stein, Brewster, and Pilcher, LLC in 2005. She is active in NALS, Inc., the association for legal professionals, on state and local levels. Through study and certifications, she became a certified paralegal and followed Henry Brewster when he went to solo practice in 2010.
