Deuce Drone Completes Live Demo

Netcapital Inc. has announced that portfolio company Deuce Drone of Mobile successfully completed a live demo of its app and drone delivery services, marking its pace to be prepared to launch revenue-generating flights in the next few weeks (Deuce Drone to Begin Flights In May). The company hosted the event at the BB&T Financial Centre in Mobile, where it has an exclusive contract to conduct lunch delivery services by drone between the office complex and the nearby Legacy Village shopping center. The Deuce Drone team was joined by U.S. Rep. Jerry Carl, President and CEO of the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce Bill Sisson, staff from U.S. Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s office and representatives from Innovation Portal. When asked about next steps, Deuce Drone Chief Operating Officer Ed Fienga said, “We’ve now begun fine-tuning our software and will be ready to launch sustained revenue-generating flights at the center in the coming weeks.”
