Former Enterprise To Be Dismantled In Mobile

The U.S. Navy vessel known as CVN-65, formerly the USS Enterprise, is to be dismantled in Mobile, NBC15 reports. NorthStar Maritime Dismantlement Services of Vernon, Vermont, has been awarded a $546.7-million contract to dismantle the vessel, which was the first nuclear aircraft carrier.
